What are the shipping rates to Russia and how do they differ?

Two options to choose from. The “post office pick-up” rate: weight 5–30 kg, box up to 50×50×100 cm, 15–20 days. The recipient collects the parcel at their nearest post office. The “EMS courier to the door” rate: weight 5–31 kg, box up to 60×60×120 cm, 10–15 days. The courier delivers the parcel straight to the recipient’s address. What can’t be sent?

Prohibited: liquids (except sealed perfumery up to 500 ml), prescription medicines, weapons, ammunition, lithium batteries separate from devices, cash and securities. Perishables without vacuum packing we don’t accept. For shipments to Russia and Belarus there are EU restrictions on sanctioned and dual-use items — we check them against your packing list. Documents (passports, diplomas, originals) we send via a dedicated procedure, see above. The full list — we will send it to you on WhatsApp on request.

Can I send food, cheese, prosciutto?

Yes, we do carry food — up to 5 kg of food products per parcel, within their shelf life. Cheese and cured meats (prosciutto, salami, cured beef) can be sent, but only vacuum-packed: the parcel travels about two weeks without a fridge, and without vacuum packing the product won’t arrive in good shape. Go by the storage rules and temperature requirements — anything that needs refrigeration and spoils quickly is best not sent. If in doubt about a specific product, ask us on WhatsApp before sending.

Can I drop off without travelling to Milan?

We are building a network of drop-off points in Southern Italy — Calabria, Sicily, Campania, Puglia. If there is no point near you yet, we send you a free shipping label: you drop the box off at your nearest Poste Italiane or at a partner tabaccheria. The rate stays transparent.

Will the recipient pay customs duty in Russia or the CIS?

In most cases, no. Across the EAEU customs union — Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia — the duty-free threshold is the same: €200 per shipment and up to 31 kg. If the parcel’s value is higher, the recipient pays a 15% duty on the amount above the threshold, minimum €2 per kilo. Countries outside the EAEU (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan) apply their own national thresholds — we check them against your packing list. To avoid surprises for the recipient, show us the packing list in advance — we calculate the duty before the parcel is handed over.

How long does the parcel take?

To Russia: EMS courier to the door — 10–15 days, pick-up at the recipient’s post office — 15–20 days. For the other CIS countries the calculator shows exact times once you choose the country and rate (most destinations 10–14 days; Kyrgyzstan and remote regions — up to 18 days). Times can be affected by customs on the receiving side during peak periods (December, before New Year).
