From 18 October 2026 BPD Express Italia accepts parcels from 1 kg. The 5 kg minimum billable weight has been removed.
What changes
A 1 kg box used to be charged as if it weighed five kilos — you paid for weight that wasn’t there. The price now starts from the actual weight, from the first kilo.

What stays the same
Documents still cost a flat €50 regardless of weight and country. The maximum per parcel is unchanged: 31 kg by EMS courier, 30 kg on the Standard rate. Transit times, insurance up to €100 and the BPD tracking number for the whole route are all unchanged.
