How much does it cost to send a parcel to Kyrgyzstan?
Shipping starts at €44.95 for a parcel up to 5 kg, door to door. Current rates from the BPD Express calculator (July 2026):
| Weight | Price (door to door) |
|---|---|
| up to 5 kg | €44.95 |
| 10 kg | €69.90 |
| 20 kg | €119.80 |
A few things to know about the pricing:
- 5 kg is the minimum billable weight — a 2 kg parcel is charged as 5 kg, so it usually makes sense to fill the box.
- 31 kg is the maximum per box. Sending more? We simply split it into several boxes at the same rate.
- Insurance up to €100 is already included. Higher declared value costs €1 for every additional €100 of coverage, up to €2,000.

How to send a parcel: step by step
The whole process takes one short WhatsApp conversation and one trip to a drop-off point. Here is how it works:
- Get in touch. Write to us on WhatsApp — tell us what you are sending and the recipient’s address in Kyrgyzstan. Support is available in English, Italian or Russian.
- Pack the box and write a contents list. Use a sturdy cardboard box (no travel bags — they don’t survive sorting). Make a simple list of what’s inside with an estimated value in euros for each item, put a printed copy inside the box and send us a photo or text of it on WhatsApp. No Italian needed — we translate it ourselves.
- Hand the box over. Drop it off at the nearest BPD Express pick-up point, or ask for a free prepaid label and ship the box to us via Poste Italiane or a partner tabaccheria. To catch the next departure, the parcel should reach the pick-up point 24–36 hours before the truck leaves — ask us for the current departure date.
- We do the paperwork, you pay. BPD Express prepares the CN23 customs declaration, the export declaration and the invoice based on your contents list. You pay in euros — card (Visa/Mastercard), Apple Pay, SEPA transfer or cash at the drop-off point.
- Track it to the door. You receive a tracking number starting with “b…” on WhatsApp, and status updates follow automatically until the courier hands the parcel to your recipient.
What you can send — and what you can’t
Most everyday items ship without any issues: clothes, shoes, sealed cosmetics and perfume (up to 500 ml), children’s things, books, household goods.
Food is allowed — up to 5 kg of food per parcel, non-perishable only. Italian cheese and cured meats (prosciutto, salami, coppa) are fine, but only vacuum-sealed: the parcel travels around two weeks without refrigeration, and without vacuum packaging the food simply won’t make it.
Not allowed: alcohol, tobacco, prescription medicines, weapons, lithium batteries shipped separately from devices, cash and securities, liquids other than sealed perfume. Not sure about a specific item? Send your contents list to WhatsApp and we’ll check it before you pack.
Customs in Kyrgyzstan: the €200 duty-free allowance
Kyrgyzstan is a member of the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union), so one shipment clears customs duty-free up to €200 in value and 31 kg in weight. Sending something worth more than €200 is perfectly possible — the recipient just pays a duty of 15% on the amount above the limit (minimum €2 per kg of excess).
You don’t fill in a single customs form yourself: BPD Express prepares the CN23 declaration and all export documents based on your contents list. Fewer than 1% of our parcels get any customs questions at all. If you want to know in advance whether your parcel fits the duty-free limit, send us the contents list and we’ll calculate it before shipping.
How long does delivery take?
Door-to-door delivery from Italy to Kyrgyzstan takes 15–20 days from the departure date. The parcel travels as an international postal item through our own International Postal Exchange Point — BPD Express has been recognized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) since 2003 and operates under the Universal Postal Convention, so the channel is fully legal and stable.
Tracking is automatic: statuses (“accepted”, “in transit”, “customs cleared”, “delivered”) arrive on WhatsApp, and you can also enter your “b…” number in the tracking form at the top of bpd-express.it.
Sending documents to Kyrgyzstan
Original documents — passports, diplomas, certificates — travel by a separate procedure as registered international mail: flat rate €50, 10–15 days, EMS courier delivery to the recipient’s door, regardless of destination. You put the originals in an inner envelope (your address and phone in Latin letters, the recipient’s details as they use them locally), we pack it into an outer envelope with BPD Express details and ship it. The envelope is not opened at customs — it travels as mail under UPU rules.
