A few things to know about weight:
- 5 kg is the minimum billable weight. A 2 kg parcel ships at the 5 kg price — so if you’re sending something small, it often makes sense to fill the box up.
- 31 kg is the maximum per parcel. Sending more? We simply split it into two or more boxes, each priced on its own weight.

How long does delivery to Armenia take?

How to send a parcel to Armenia: step by step

- Pack a sturdy box and put a packing list inside — a simple list of contents with an approximate value in euros for each item (for example: “winter jacket — €80, two books — €25”). No Italian needed; send it to us in English or Russian and we’ll translate.
- Drop the box off at a collection point in Italy. No collection point nearby? Ask us — we can send you a prepaid label so you can hand the box in at your local post office.
- We handle all export paperwork — the CN23 customs declaration, the export document and the invoice. You don’t fill in a single form.
- Pay in euros — Visa/Mastercard, Apple Pay, SEPA transfer or cash at the collection point. Payment is in euros only.

Sending documents to Armenia
Documents ship at a flat rate of €50, regardless of weight. Passports, diplomas, notarised originals — they travel as registered international mail with EMS courier delivery to the door, in 10–15 days, with a tracking number. You put the originals in an inner envelope with the recipient’s address, we seal it in an outer BPD Express envelope and send it. Under UPU postal rules the envelope is not opened at customs.
Customs and duty-free limits for Armenia
Armenia is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), so parcels up to €200 in value and up to 31 kg enter duty-free. For most family parcels — clothes, food, gifts, kids’ items — the recipient pays nothing at all.
Sending something worth more than €200? That’s absolutely fine — the parcel still goes through, the recipient just pays a duty of 15% on the amount above €200 (minimum €2 per kg of excess). What you can and can’t send to Armenia
You can send: clothes and shoes, cosmetics and perfume (sealed, up to 500 ml), food and sweets, children’s items, books, souvenirs and household goods.
Italian food is one of the most popular things in parcels to Armenia — and yes, you can send it. The rules are simple:
- Up to 5 kg of food per parcel, nothing past its expiry date.
- Cheese and cured meats (prosciutto, salami) — only vacuum-sealed. The parcel travels around two weeks without refrigeration, so without vacuum packing the food simply won’t survive the trip.
- No perishables that need constant refrigeration.

Is it insured? What if something goes wrong?
Every parcel is automatically insured up to €100 against loss and transit damage, and compensation is paid according to your packing list. Sending something more valuable? Extended cover costs €1 for every additional €100 of value, up to €2,000. Our parcels travel door to door without being handed over to third-party carriers, which is why our loss rate stays below 1%.
